What is a minisymposium

After the summer, instructions on how to modify or withdraw accepted proposals will be published.

A minisymposium is composed of one or several sessions of four coordinated presentations on a single topic of substantial current interest and importance in mathematics and its applications.  Each session in a minisymposium is 100 minutes long. Each speaker has twenty minutes for presentation, with an additional five minutes for discussion.

Prospective minisymposium organizers are asked to submit a proposal consisting of a title, a description (not to exceed 100 words), and a list of speakers and titles of their presentations.  It is recommended that a minisymposium organizer make the first presentation.

The Scientific Committee will referee all minisymposium proposals.

Upon acceptance of the proposal, each minisymposium will be assigned a reference number and every speaker will be asked to submit a 100 word abstract using the contributed-papers form.
